I decided I would record this album almost exactly one year ago to show myself that I could do it. I spent hours sitting in my mothers basement, father's apartment, or my own home in Montreal using whatever couch pillows and blankets I could get my hands to make a soundproof studio. Recording each part over and over again until it met my expectations, getting talented friends to lay down some tracks on the songs of their insturment, and then finally hours and late nights of putting all the pieces together has been the process of something that I like to call "Fly To Home". 

 I'm happy to say that its the first time I've recorded a full album that I am truly proud of. The songs are stories from my point of view and they stem from a place deep inside of me. Writing and recording has been a musical journey that has been one of the most healing and empowering experiences I have ever had in my life. It began in a time when I had no belief in my own music and what I could do as a musician. I began writing the songs during my travels and they speak of my journey while seeking inner peace and understanding of myself as a person and as a spirit.

 My mother - for her love, shaping me into who I am and her support in all the choices I've made whether or not she agreed 
 My father- for his amazing banjo playing, his hard work on this album and my website and his everlasting love, support and encouragement. 
 Ainsley - for her beautiful harmonies and her sincere friendship throughout such a large chunk of my life 
 Tim - for his incredible guitar playing, his effort put into recording and his bottomless heart that I will forever love 
 Juliette - for her beautiful heart wrenching cello playing as well as her patience for my late night recording sessions 
 Tyler - for his rad stand-up bass skills, his hard work and patience 
 Jasmin - for being my musical soulmate and always encouraging me to look above what I think are my limits 
 Karine & Ariane - for being wonderul roomates and putting up with having no cushions on the couches for weeks :)

 Refik - for the inspiration to keep going on my own musical path alone
