Groovy
David Tennant continues his quest to take over the world - or at least our TVs - this Christmas with a guest appearance on QI. To be honest, beside the combined wit of Alan Davies, Lee Mack and Bill Bailey, he's a little out of his comic depth. But he takes the endless ribbing about time travelling and sonic screwdrivers with good grace. The urbane Stephen Fry is on top form, though - listening to his perfectly enunciated attempts at youth slang is sublime - while other highlights include Tennant's rendition of Auld Lang Syne and some hilarious banter about how Nazis might have invented the expression "cool".
