-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hmmm, this is a rather hit or miss affair. It has been filmed from the balcony
directly in front of center stage, so the view is unobstructed and clear.
Unfortunately the person filming seems to fluctuate in his ability to keep
Prince in shot - or anyone in shot, for that matter. The first 20 minutes are
atrocious, and Prince is fleetingly in shot for 2 seconds - the remainder of the
time the camera is shaking about, or filming anything other than what's going
on. The camera work settles down for an hour, and there are some fantastic
close-ups and great footage of the concert. The lighting tends to be rather dark
in places, and you really have to concentrate to work out what's going on. The
show itself is an enjoyable Act I concert, however it ends with 'Purple Rain' -
there is NO encore, which is very surprising as Prince seemed to be having a
great time. The previous nights footage is better (HERE), however it's the first
20 minutes and the dark lighting which really spoil this recording - even the 40
year old woman dancing on stage in her fishnets can't make it more enjoyable
(well,....slightly)
