Chip Taylor (1940) schreef nummers als Wild Thing en Angel Of The Morning en hoeft zich eigenlijk niet meer te bewijzen. Toch was een recensie van een van zijn optredens de aanleiding voor het maken van een nieuwe plaat: Fuck All The Perfect People. Taylor neemt dit album, vol verhalende americana-liedjes, live in de studio op. De band is uitstekend, met een subtiele glansrol voor gitarist John Platania (Van Morrison).
