Photographer Tim Hetherington and journalist Sebastian Junger went to the Korengal Valley, one of the hottest zones in Afghanistan, which at the time of filming was taking enemy fire daily. Over the course of a year, the filmmakers shared the dangers, endured the hardships and came back with 150 hours of tape.
