Joji Kano... A detective at the Ishigaki Police Station in Okinawa... An expert marksman since he joined the force at age 19... He's taken down many harded criminals with his .45... Despite his rural accent and his country demeaner, he's been nicknamed "Doberman" because of his aggressive nature... Kano comes to Tokyo to identify and bring home the body of a teenage runaway from his hometown. But things aren't as they seem as he discovers a scandal involving a rising star and the yakuza in the seedy entertainment district of Shinjuku.
